I dont think I will be changing my mind although some of the opinions were very, shall we say one sided and not many ppl actually looked at it from my point of view in the benefit it may have even if its to experience a once in a lifetime thing.

most of it was pretty harsh and dashed my hopes a little and I have more priorities which I was neglecting does not mean that I dont give my other jobs my all as they are my passion and helping is what I feel i do best, however who would want a cd for a PT or martial arts instructor...

Ridge was doing what Dr. Phil does when he gives out tough love.

I spoke with Ridge about why he said things that way. I blew it though because I was upset with his response so I communicated horribly and didn't watch my wording. He accepted my apology and explained he was giving his opinion. He wasn't saying it was right or wrong, he was just posting to ask if your REALLY thought about everything that could go bad.

That's fair because you did ask for advice. You didn't post a disclaimer stating "please be gentle" . If this comes of cold please let me apologize. I've had almost 20 hours to think about it, that's why I have more clarity, hence the levity in this post.

This one was close to home. Because you are on the fence way too much, I think you shouldn't take the job because your are really apprehensive.

I had to re-read your second post where you told us you told your wife about the interview. I only realized you had told her because as I was writing a second post urging you to tell your wife. I was going to quote something from what you said and I realized you actually told her already. I think some folks who posted after your initial post didn't see it either.

Please don't let a miscommunication be the reason you're going to go away for a while.
