Jaye,
We are here for you, but you seem to have things under control at the moment. I surely don't have an answer and I am sure you know all the "touchy/feely" philosophies, " tomorrows another day" time heals all wounds" etc. Just hang in there and know your sisters here support you!
Love,
Deborah
PS: Not to change the subject, but they have a very active Tri-Ess chapter in the Queen City, have you ever been? and I will embarrass myself - I would like to attend one of their meetings - any chance of an invite?
Thanks,
Deborah
What is more acceptable?

I've yet to see Ed full "enfemme", so I do just see a "man in a dress". I suppose this is easier to deal with for now, but now that I have got used to the CDing and have a better understanding of it by visiting this lovely forum, I'm sure I could cope with seeing Ed totally enfemme. He has bought a wig, but has not had the courage to let me see him in it yet. He is worried about me laughing, as I do occasionally laugh at inappropriate moments
Ed acts mostly the same when dressed either way, but I suspect would act more feminine if he felt more comfortable to do so, when I'm about (and probably does when I'm not about). He is gradually throwing in a bit of femininity now and again, to test the water probably!
I am no longer feeling threatened by it all now, so it will happen when Ed is ready. I have to agree with Lefty on this one, she sums it up beautifully in her post. The fact that my husband adores me and loves me unconditionally is the most important factor, along with the fact that I adore him and love him unconditionally back!

Curly, thanks for your input. I might ask, has Ed been seen by anyone else, dressed? the mirror is one thing, but as one of my sister's quoted, "the best mirror is the eyes of a friend." You are Ed's friend so to be constructively critical would probably benefit him. In you mindseye, do you think he could "pass" if he went out? How would you feel about going out with him? Sisters out shopping? Pride in a "girlfirend?" or OH my Gawd if someone recognizes us????? Just curious.
Love your input, as I have said SO's here a pure Gold!!
Love ya,
Deborah

Hi Deborah,
Ed is very much a 'behind closed doors' CDer! He says he has no desire to go out dressed, so no one apart from me, has ever seen him enfemme.
I didn't used to think I worried about him going out in public, for this reason, but a few days ago I had a dream that he was out dressed, and I was horrified when I saw someone I knew, Oo er!! I would be uncomfortable if he ever did want to go out, but I also like to think I could say, to hell, what other people think.
Ed has a great sense of style, so I don't really need to be constructively critical. I will tell him when he puts together a great outfit though. At the weekend he put on a sweater and skirt I wouldn't have thought would have looked good together, but it looked great, very Carrie Sex in the City, and told him so! He will occasionally slip a nightie on without taking off his man socks first, now that doesn't look great and I will point that out
As for him passing, I'm not sure, as I haven't seen him with his wig on. He has very little facial hair, so his face can look great, but maybe his features and body are too angular to pass, he has zero body fat and is vey toned, and of course, his tattoos
We still have fun shopping together, him endrab, I like to be naughty, I hold up ladies clothes and ask he he would like it, just to see the look on peoples faces
