As I mentioned in another thread I have yet to see my husband Ed fully enfemme, having known about his CDing for about eight months. Ed has not had the opportunity previously to go fully enfemme as his CDing experience was always rushed moments in secret when the house was empty, so this is will something new to both of us.
Well, as I said...baby steps....First Ed would just wear a pair of panties under his male clothes, then he would wear a sweater, blouse, nightie or camisole so I have very gradually got used to seeing him in femme clothes. I have done his makeup and toenails a few times, and Ed bought his first pair of shoes a couple of months ago. At the weekend he bought his first bra! This would have probably freaked me out had he done it earlier on. I think what helped this weekend, is that he actually bought some male clothes first, in a strange way, this was reassuring, as it felt like he was still holding on to his male side. My biggest fear is to feel he has been emasculated. I need to feel reassured that his male side is as important to him as it is to me.
Now we are at a place where we both feel very comfortable and unthreatened by the CDing. By taking baby steps, we have avoided making demands on each other...I haven't needed to tell him not to dress and he hasn't demanded that he needs to.
I have to go now, as daughter is due home from school, just wanted to share this quickly, while it was on my mind! May look at wigs online tonight.

Hi Curly,
You and Ed are pioneers. I have not seen anyone post the details as to how they are handling this as well as you folks are. Congratulations!!! And your book is coming out when?? Your approach cries out for others to see how it's done. Baby steps, I think it great! Keep us posted, and say Hi to Ed for us!
Love,
Deborah
