My wife, bless her heart has gone to bed, but not before casually telling me that she went to some crossdressing website (she could not remember which one or how she got there, but it was intentional) She said that she basically asked "if there were any wives of crossdressers out there?"
She said she got an Email today on her computer at work from a 24 year old girl, married, no kids - yet! She related that her husband had told her ?recently? that he was a crossdresser and before they were married, he had dressed as a girl and "slept with men." The poor girl was confussed to say the least. My wife responded that first that the crossdressing does not go away (YEAH! I am making progress there!) She told the young lady that the sleeping with guys was really not an aspect of crossdressing (Yeah! yet another milestone.) She told her she did not feel she could help her much, other than," is that the example that she wanted for any children that they may have?"
I am sorry for the young lady, but I am also trying to analyze what has just happened? 1. She went on the net to try and talk with other "SO'S" - Good! 2. Why did she need this input? 3. She shared it with me! - Good!!!
4. Should I bring it up again( we did briefly discuss the situation - I think the guy is maybe 70% gay and 70% bi-sexual - we agreed that they don't need to bring children into that relationship right now).
I am excited !!!

Thought I would just post a reply to my original post as it is a continuing sage. Today, Thursday, July 8, 2004 we are makeing progress. First, this morning she brought up my wardrode again. She has not been in the room for what? two months or more. Anyway, I said something to the effect that I could use some help with my appearance and that since she was really my only role model......... Did not work, she went back to her postion that she had accepted my CD'ing, but she just could not bring herself to meet Deborah. Then on the way to our counseling session, it came up again and I mentioned the SCC in Atlanta Sept 29 - Oct. 2. (just a plug) anyway she said I should definitely go. I asked her if she would help me get ready with my wardrobe and she said she would think about it. Now this week-end my in-laws and other family members will be here and I asked her to let me know if her sister-in-law ( who knows) says anything. I told her to simply to tell her that we have made our current bounderies and if she has questions just to ask me face to face. Should be a very interesting week-end. Small step, girls, small steps!

Just wanted to add my thoughts here too. I agree, I think your wife may be comming around. Even a small step can be considered a big one.

Thanks Jennifer, you know that is my daughter name as well. My wife told my daughter (her step-daughter) about my crossdresing. she asked me about it so I sent her the Carl Jung "Anima Theory." and some other information and gave her this website and she seems to have accepted perhaps better than my wife right now.
