Well, after a long time of not being able to get dressed up and go out my hubby and I loaded up the girls last night, headed about an hr from the house and went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We all had a great time.Especially my husband who has not been able to dress up in ages.He looked stunning sporting his new wig and dressed in a vinyl maids outfit complete with fishnet stockings and heels.he looked absolutely fabulous. Our oldest daughter, who is 4, has been so excited all week about going. We use to take her from the time she was a baby when they showed it here in the town we live in.We all had a great time. Our youngest daughter slept through most of it,shich is a good thing sinse shes two. Afterwards we went to the Huddle House with the cast members. We had an absolutely great time and we look forward to doing it again!

Even non CDs get dressed up for the event if they're feeling daring enough.

Nothing better than being all dressed up and somewhere to go Loy B. Another night out is Hedwig and the Angry inch. There was a touring company doing the play and we went to Hartford to see it.I don't know if they are still touring but it was fun.Hugs
Love

Absolutely Darth,
Non cds enjoy it just as much.I was just glad hubby could get all dressed up (especially in a french maids outfit) and have somewhere to go.Its just not that often that he gets to dress up and go out.

Great idea to go somewhere that people are wearing whacky outfits as part of the event. THat's probably why Mardi Gras is so well attended. My CD has only played around with dressing (at home by himself) in recent years and he has never gone out in full en femme. He wants to very much. From the first that he told me he liked to wear women's clothes, I took to the idea and set out to doll him up with proper fitting clothes. I'm a professional type A GG but I like the control aspects of helping to transform him. It's particulary rewarding because he looks terrific in makeup and dresses and has great legs. THe challenge is that he is over 6' (I'm 5'6") and very well known in a large area as an archtype "man's man". I think we will have to go to the north pole to avoid his "public." This is my first posting so I apologize if I am doing it wrong.

Hi Isabelle and welcome to the forum. Feel free to post a short intro about yourself in the New Members section if you like, just so we all know you're here. You'll find this a great place to hang out and if you can get your hubby to join if he hasn't already, even better!
