I have just had the day I have only dreamed of before. I (we) are really trying to just take baby stps like you all have STRONGLY suggested and I believe all is well with her acceptance of the whole thing. I've only been dressing up when she went to work so as not to shove it in her face everytime she turns around. She knows all about it and we even have a little joke between us when she calls me from work. She asks me,loud enough for her co-workers to hear, "Is Lisbeth there?" She gets a kick out of it.
Well, she has been down with a bug all week and hasn't been to work. I've kept myself amused by shopping and I've developed quite a shoe fetish. Anyway, this afternoon I got my make-up bag and just asked her first if she would mind if I played for awhile. She said no, of course not. I spent the next twenty minutes dolling myself up and she told me from upstairs that she wanted to see me when I was ready. When I was satisfied with my look I went back upstairs and got my wig and put it on. Well when I walked into her room she was pleasently surprised that I had done as good a job or better than she had. Then she said that I had better not waste it and that I should get dressed in something nice. I went to my limited wardrobe and put on my panties, a nice new bra,pantyhose, a tight black skirt, (about two inches above the knee) and a button front shirt with a tight sweater over it. I put on my newest pair of low heel sling backs and I checked myself in the mirror. I was really satisfied with the way it all came together. I went and showed her my transformation and she was impressed. We spent the entire afternoon and evening like two girlfriends and I couldn't be happier! I remembered some advice about watching for body language and little signs that she was getting overwhelmed and I told her that if she felt uncomfortable at any time that I would change but she was really and truly okay with it.
I'm sitting here now in my silk PJs with my toe nails all painted pretty for my open-toed heels and she was the one that suggested I do that! I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!! She says that she isn't threatened by Lisbeth at all and she is so very happy that I can get so much pleasure from such a simple thing as dressing up as a woman. She is truly one of a kind in my world.
I just had to tell someone else that would understand how I feel and to let you all know that your advice is being very carefully followed. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement. I've entered a whole new chapter of my life and it's a good thing to have sisters that have been there and a wife that loves the"me" that is under the clothes, no matter what gender I might want to be today. Sounds like things are going well. Great job keeping the communication lines open and asking her how she feels at each step. You have a wonderful wife and she has a loving and undstanding husband. What more could anyone ask for?!

Elayne has that fetish as well but I don't mind as we wear the same size I tripled my shoes when we got together. Now we have to both agreenot to want to wear the same pair.

We are all so happy for you, but just a word of warning, don't let your guard down, not that she would sabatoge you, but like we have said and you are adhering to - watch for any signs on her part of concern or that "attitude" of "I've had enough of Lisbeth now!" Most of the SO's will tell you that their acceptance is not a 100% at first. It takes some getting used to, so it is still "baby steps." I hope she does come to accept you 100% because it can be such a blessing, if you will, to a relationship. It is in my mind a "win-win" situation.
Keep the faith and remember she can always visit the forum too.

Thanks for all your help and insight into how to respect her feelings and sometimes her fears. She really is such an understanding person and she says that she doesn't have a problem with it but I know that if I were to greet her at the door every night en femme it would probably get real old real fast. I'm holding back a little more then I want to but this is much too important to screw it up because I got pushy. IMHO I'll never find another lady like this one and I'm not going to knowingly do something dumb now.
