Hello one and all!
Hi Love - Thanks for all your help in getting me squared away as a new member of the forum. Gosh, all these welcoming notes sure make an SO a happy girl! I'll be sticking around to give a kind word whenever I can. Thanks for the warm welcome! (Oops, just wanted to say that Missy and I are great buddies!)
Hi Joanne - I remember when my husband first started to tell me about his desire to wear heels and hose, he was very uncomfortable and appeared very vulnerable. This subject was all so new to me and, even though I was trying to sort out my feelings, the bottom line for me was that I wasn't going to desert him, and we would always be there for each other . Every evening after dinner he would say in a joking manner, "Let's talk about me", and we would discuss the topic a little more, until I felt I was overloaded for the day and needed to take a breather.
Missy has always been very understanding and compromising. In the beginning with the crossdressing, he went a little too fast at times. We have discussed the things with which I don't feel comfortable, and Missy makes a real effort to keep me happy.
I joke with Missy and say that he has become my Barbie doll! I really get a bang out of seeing him dressed up in something pretty or sexy and I can see that he really enjoys the compliments. I guess we've come a long way in the past year, but I believe we have become much closer (if that were possible!). Perhaps more SO's will come to this site for guidance and insight. Wouldn't that be nice!
Joanne, thanks for your kind words.
Hi, ElizabethAnn - Thanks for the welcome. I'm happy to be here.
Hi Katy-Jane - Yes, I see you're a newbie, too! Glad you joined and thanks for the warm welcome.
Another round of hugs to all!

Hi Kristen,
Thank you for the mahhhvelous, simply mahhhvelous welcome!
My positive attitude is primarily due to Missy. My husband has always looked at the bright side of things. Whenever there is a problem or an obstacle, he is always determined to get around it. With him, there is no such thing as "can't". He really is the "better half" of our marriage, especially when he's dressed "to kill"!
Thanks for taking the time to write such nice things.
Take care.

outstanding job!
mrs. missy!
you are a wonderful woman who truly knows how to accept a man on a unique level. i have been blessed with a girlfriend who loves and encourages every single side of me. i know that your missy has given you his/her heart completely and i pray that both of you will have continued support as this is still a very unaccepting world.
so welcome to the boards.....considering i joined 2 seconds ago myself!

Hi Miss Britney,
I'm so glad you found this forum! You will find a lot of helpful friends here.
Thank you for your kind words. It's wonderful that you have a girlfriend who is so supportive. When two people are of one heart and mind, so much good will result.
I read that you are having problems with your Mom and Dad. I'm not sure what to say about that. I feel that by you showing love, kindness, respect and patience to your parents (and also saying a few prayers!), this may go a long way to smooth this rocky relationship. It's good that you seem to be communicating with your Dad in writing. It may take a while for your parents to accept. They probably need a little time to realize that you haven't changed as a person.
In the meantime, surround yourself with positive thoughts and friends. You are young and you have a lot of life to live!
Hi to you, Asheley,
Thank you for your welcoming words. Missy and I enjoy being around intelligent and positive people, and we enjoy being here. I usually tend to be a lurker, but I'm in the neighborhood almost every day!
Hugs,
Mrs. Missy(SO)
