Teilani from TX says Howdy

Post by Teilani »

Hi ya'll

Just thought I'd stop in and say Hi. I'm new, but have been checking this place out for a while, and it seems like a nice decent place to hang out and talk to others like myself.

Hi there, Teilani from Texas!

Welcome to the forum! 8) I'm glad you decided to come out in the sun and kick around a few tumbleweeds with us. I hope you enjoy yourself and I look forward to hearing more from you.

Love,
CJ

Nice name, by the way. What's its origin, if I may ask?

Thanks for the welcome everyone. :)

I'm a big Trekkie, so the name comes from a series of Star Trek novels. She was a Half Klingon Half Romulan that fell in love with Captain Kirk.

Hi Teilani--
Falling in love with Captain Kirk was hopeless--he was always a dedicated military guy. Sorta like that old hit single, where Brandy was in love with a sailor, but HIS first love was the sea. No, no, can't compare that to Star Trek--the writing was much better on Star Trek.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. It's a nice place, indeed.

HUZZAH FOR STAR TREK!! LIVE LONG AND PROSEPER!! SHE IS HAPPY CAT!!

Half Klingon, half Romulan? What a volatile combination! Not *too* much like yourself I hope?

Not as lethal as a combination such as bourbon and beans. And if you get that refrence you get a hug.

Trekkies in Tx?

Post by Rainsong »

A texan trekkie, why the hell not! of course Star Wars puts the Treks to shame, but they are still in my top 10 sci fi shows/movies of all time. Welcome, I know I am from Colorado, but I will put my natural prejudice against texas away for you. Actually I have tons of relatives in the south and deep south (including Tx.), but being from Colorado we get a little arrogant-cuz we got real mountains

PS-Trek has much better outfits I will admit-especially the 2st season ensign uniform
