and this looks like a decent place to visit every so often. I am a mature crossdresser but feel ten years younger whenever I dressed up in my somewhat limited wardrobe. Except for shoes that is I have had the feelings for many years but repressed them for most of my life. Well I finally realized that I wasn't getting any younger So come what may I even go out in the real world once in a while.
Glad to see you're content being yourself. I find it very satisfiying to get out in the world every now and then. Just to be myself is an absolute wonderous feeling.

Welcome Paula. I've found this place to be a Godsend and I bet you will too. Like you (and a lot of others), I kept my secret for years out of shame and embarassment. When I discovered the forum it was like I finally found my long lost tribe or something. The relief of knowing that I can actually talk to others just like me with the same "urges" and not worry about ridicule or being laughed at is something I didn't know could exist.
I've found that I am surprisingly honest about sharing with my new found sisters. Maybe I'm a little naive but I feel that I can trust most of the members here and that is just the greatest thing.
I hope you stick around awhile and get comfortable too. The more the merrier.
