If you were here last month, I hope you got a chance to catch the Jazz Festival, the Just for Laughs Festival, and loads and loads of rain, rain, rain.
Seriously, I've lived elsewhere in the country and, although there are some beautiful cities and gorgeous country vistas in Canada, Montreal remains my fave, too. It's bubbly and alive. I can eat a continental breakfast in the morning, have a Pad Thai for lunch, sashimi for dinner, and a gyros pita sandwich with tzatziki and hot sauce for a late night snack, all without ever leaving my neighbourhood. Rina, who's sitting next to me, says this makes me sound like a pig.
Who knows, maybe we'll meet some day? Be sure to bring your boyfriend; we'll have a cappucino at one of the many terraces on St-Denis St. or at the Port in Old Montreal.
Love,
CJ
