Donna, we do not want to pressure you into telling your SO as it is ultimately your decision to do that. And we do not know your whole situation like you do. But over all in most cases it seems it is usually better to tell a SO sooner than later and before they find out.
Be ready for lots of talking and communication as that is what will usually get your relationship through it.

Hi Donna, it's great to meet you. I'm married & my wife knows about me, & is quite understanding, but I don't want my kids to know, so I guess that leaves me partly in the closet. I hope your wife is understanding too if you manage to tell her, it would certainly be a big weight off your shoulders. Lots of luck.
