Thank all so very much for the support and warm welcome.
I identify as CD right now, and find myself in a city that seems to have no open community for girls like me. :(
I am in Ottawa , Ontario, Canada, . Which as you may know, is a very conservative city.
I have never been dressed out before, and am finding that now that I have come out to my GF, going out, will be the next logical step.
I am however having a hard time believing that a city that boasts a population of over 800,000 people, does not have a community of Trans or CD friendly spots. That are safe and not a gay bar.
I identify as being in a monogamous relationship, and we are not looking for a dating club or pick up joint. Just a safe , friendly environment, where I can be girly and free.
I am asking if any of my fellow travelers of this strange and pretty life we share, knows of local couples, or groups in my area, that would welcome a new CD and her SO, please send me a PM.

With love and Thanks: Lacey :)

Yes, I have thought of the Lookout . Thank you for the suggestion, I am going to go see how CD friendly it is this coming saturday, but I believe it is Drag and gay orientated , more then Hetro CD/Trans.
However, I have never had issues going to gay clubs in the past so that really isn't an issue. I think I am more concerned with the large amount of drugs and drinking that is frequent in that type of enviroment.
I am not a drinker, and do not poison myself with drugs.
We are looking more for a casual meet of other CD/Trans couples or girls.
Not a party.

I am starting find ways to find other CD/Trans folk in Ottawa. It seems that the site URnotalone, has many profiles for CD;s in Ottawa, but it wants me to put up a pic, b4 I can contact them.
Unfortunatly I do not have one, and believe it or not, I do not own a digital camera. I do however have a cam on the laptop, and if I can get good lighting and figure out how to actually take the pic and upload it, I might put one up.
TY again for the suggestion.
Kisses: Lacey:)

If it is anything like some of the gay clubs here, hetero CDs are welcome, especially if they have drag nights.

And meeting other interseting CDs at the club, of various ages, is usually possible, if one isn't too shy to strike up a conversation.

Good luck.

Hi Lacey and welcome to the forum. Nice to have another Ontarian join us. Glad to hear you have a supportive wife, so good luck to you both.

You may be surprised to know that Ottawa does indeed have a very active Trans community. You need look no further than: www.gendermosaic.ca
I have a lot of friends among the wonderful gals there and have enjoyed attending some of their events. They are a lot of fun and certainly very welcoming and supportive of everyone, so you should find what you're looking for. If you do make contact, tell Amanda I said hi.

Just starting to explore my feminine nature- am very shy meek and demure. Addicted to looking and acting ladylike. Still have so many questions about exactly who I am- have so many mixed emotions about my gender issues.
