Intro from Ohio

Hello all.

I'm new to this board but not to crossdressing. I'm retired and we live on a farm, so we (usually!) have plenty of privacy. My wife is very supportive and likes to see me dressed femme although I am not passable (she really likes my beard and that's a concession I make for her.)

As a youngster, I did try on some of my mom's clothing, as a sexual turnon. That was all of my crossdressing for several decades. I know a lot of CDs started early and always had the urge or need. I wasn't in that category, possibly because I had no clue about crossdressing, or maybe because it was supressed. The Internet has been such a wonderful resource to understand that "I am not alone". :)

In my late 40's, I began to feel submissive urges and wanted to be treated "like a girl". When my 30+ year marriage was ending and I met my current wife, I was open about my needs and asked her to dominate me and to force feminize me. I now recognize that I wanted to be dressed but thought I had to be forced. Once she started that, I became more and more desireous of being feminine. (Although I have my normal ups and downs and sometimes I still feel that it must be stupid :( ) But usually once I get started, I feel very comfortable with femme clothes and light makeup.

My wife says that she has always seen me as having some very feminine traits. Even her adult children had commented on it. So perhaps I am truly "somewhere in between".

As a minimum, I always wear panties (she gave away my male underwear to her son a couple of years ago) and I usually wear a bra. I have very small natural boobs (wish they were bigger...I guess that's one of my feminine traits :) ). Around home and out on the farm, I usually dress feminine. When we go out in public, I don't try to pass (obviously) but often wear femme jeans, a flat bra, little earrings and maybe light makeup. We live in a rural midwest area, so this isn't the "big west coast city" where one sees more extreme things.

I'm glad to join the group.

Hi, Patti, and welcome to the Forum!

Your wife is invited to join, too . . . we GG's also have an area where we may post in private, should the need arise.

hi and welcome from another ohio gal,

i guess you could say i live on a 'mini farm', too. really, 9 arces of mostly silver maples. we're within 25 mile of the lake, a little southwest of cleveland...

your story sounds very similar to me, i too was attracted to women's clothes at an early age, one difference was that it wasn't a sexual thing early on and it isn't today. when i started i was 4 or 5 and i just enjoyed the fabrics. i think it is hard for some to feel good about dressing when it is closely tied to a sexual release. once you get beyond tying dressing to sexual gratification the 'guilty' feel that follows disapears and you can enjoy the true feminine feelings dressing gives you.

funny thing, lately my wife and i have been taking about that bit of female that resides in all males. the yin yang or the anima

the link below is the article we talking over now. your description of the feminine traits sounds a bit like the anima part of yourself.

Hi Patti
Welcome to this wonderful place from me across the pond *sink* . I can't profess to being a countrygirl, our family farm is all of 17 acres but we love it.

Welcome from another "Buckeye!" Well I was born at Wright-Pat and spent a few years in Chillicothe, but don't tell anyone as now they all think I am as pure as the driven snow Southern Belle!

Hope you stay and participate and No, hon you are not alone!!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome :)

SilverLady: Thank you but my wife is not into participating in boards at all. She likes Yahoo chat and that sort of thing, which I never get on, I spend more of my time on boards and email groups.

Lynn: Just like the many variations between pure straight and pure gay, I suspect that many people are somewhere along the continuum between genders. Most ignore it but that doesn't change the reality. It's amazing the large numbers of members in Yahoo groups for men wearing panties, etc. I believe there is more interest than is apparent in the "normal" world :)

Kay, yes, we absolutely love the country. We have a 128 acre farm, about 90 acres of woods and the rest pasture. We have horses.

Stephanie, Oh yes, I absolutely recognize how great it is to have a supportive wife! I've read some of the tales of woe from CDs who do not have such support. But then I was married for over 30 years to a woman who thought any sex beyond missionary style once a month was excessive :(

hugs to all,

Patti

Hiya PattiG...

Country Girl here, too. Welcome to the forum.

Kay...
Seventeen acres counts as a farm. We only have ten acres here, and we call it a farm. LOL.

Hi Pati--
Welcome to the forum! I always like seeing another Ohio girl come on here. I haven't lived in Ohio for 36 years, but I still have a fondness for it. You're like me in that you started young, but didn't continue. And now you are continuing, and you're here. Hello!
