Hello from Maine

Just thought I would say hi. I am a 50's something transvestite from Maine. I have been dressing since I was about 8 years old, but have just in the last 10 years come to grips with my true self(very much feminine).
I particularly love the banlon, nylon, and poleyester tops and sweaters of the 50's-70's. I am not out of the closet, but there is no door on it. I dress how I want most of the time, but do not push it, as I am living in a smaller community in a rural state.
Please feel free to email or PM me if you want, I enjoy chatting with any and everyone.

Hello Michelle B,
A big hug and a warm welcome to our little home, why no handle on the closet?. The world is out there waiting for you.

Welcome Michelle. I don't think there IS such a thing as a closet without a door. You just need to look a little closer and you'll find it. It's usually easier to see once you're ready to step out into the world. Good luck in your search for that 'handle'.

Hi Hon
My sister Christine has lived in Maine since 1970. She and her husband Charlie lived in Saint Albans until a few years ago when they split up and Christine now lives in Palmyra.
I used to go up an visit and stay in Newport at Lovelys motel. That was treat in black fly season!
I still send Christine all my old tires, broken water heaters and rusted out cars. You know Hon. They call that landscaping in Maine! Hugs.
Love
Jeannie

Hi Michelle,
Welcome to our exclusive club. Only six out of every hundred males in the country may be eligible. (LOL)
I love nylon against my body, but the heat and humidity of PA in August makes that unacceptable.
Now if I were strolling along the coast of Maine at Acadia National Park...ahh
the pleasure returns!
My SO and I were fishing off the coast there in 1954 when we learned she was pregnant with our first child.

HI Michelle,
I use to travel Maine in another lifetime. What a neat state! The "Airline Road" between Bangor and Calais was always interesting. Portland is a nice city. The stories I could tell. The ferry rides from Rockland to Fox Island and Vinylhaven. The bustling metropolis of Aurora!
Anyway, welcome and we hope you will stay and share with us!
Virginia
PS: One of my favorites was a restaurant in Bangor. Buy two lobsters and after that they were free for as many as you could eat!
