Greetings from UK newbie Crystyna

Post by Crystyna »

I’m shy but adventurous, so dressing up comes second nature to me and have lots of fun dressing.

I have several interests including topics of a gothic theme and enjoy dressing goth when I get the chance.

I’m exploring different looks, but it’s finding the best opportunities and prices to wear and buy the items, and getting the best out of applying make up (eyeliner is currently my biggest struggle, as it never goes on completely straight), but I’ve had a ball each time I’ve gone out dressed up with what I own so far and want to expand to mix regular and alternative including more PVC.

It’s also interesting to read about each of your adventures.

Lastly, what’s an SO?

Welcome to our little corner of the internet hon, share, and learn here in a friendly and supportive place. And yeah, getting eyeliner 'right' is a black art.

"SO" stands for "Significant Other", a wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, fiance', etc. in someone's life. It's a generic catch-all phrase.

Hi, Crystyna, and welcome to the Forum!

True, but at our forum "SO" indicates the person is a Genetic Girl ("GG") and the relationship is more serious in nature, such as wife, long-term partner, or fiancee, while the "GG" tag generally indicates a less-committed relationship, such as a girlfriend or best friend to a CD.

Have a great day!

Hello Crystyna,

A big old hug and a warm welcome from Carol Ann, sweetheart after all these years I too still haven't mastered eyeliner so don't feel bad.
Like a lot of my sisters will tell you practice practice. (--)

Hi and welcome. You should be able to pick up some makeup advice here.
If you have a store that specializes in goth and they have a makeup dept ask for a makeover. Those makeup girls are great. They makeup anyone who might buy their makeup.

Thanks to all of you for your welcomes.

I love wearing eyeliner but it takes a lot of practice.

Thanks for telling me what an SO is. I'd heard of GGs but never knew what an SO is!

PS: Welcome also to the new members.

I love wearing make up, but I've got to keep perfecting it. It's a great team of people here.
