Hi, my name is Tasha, I'm still a little new, only yesterday I told some close freinds that I am a crossdresser. I also bought my first dress yesterday too, it was very exciting. I have always felt more female than male all my life, but where I live, it is simply not possible. So I keep to myself, and kept my female side well hidden. But it was not till the past couple months now I finally had enough, I can't hide forever, or I fear I may loose complete touch as to who I really am on the inside. So step by step I am opening myself up. The hardest part I think right now is my voice, getting the right sound is a challenge. But I found some great sourses on voice tips on youtube, and picked up a voice recorder so I can play back for my self too, I work at it everyday when I get the chance. This is really a great forum, so much information. almost overwelming. lol. Guess this is all for now, don't want to get to to carried away. lol

Welcome, Tasha, to our little spot in the world.
While I was reading your post I was reminded of the first time I purchased clothing for myself and the thrill of walking out of the store with my purchase.
The voice thing I still have to work on.

Thanks, I look forward to eventually chatting with them, and others too. I hope my avatar is ok for now, it's of a character I play in a on-line game. She resembles my innerself. Someday when I am dressed properly, I'll likely change it to the real me.

Thanks again everyone

My first dress is in the mail now too. So exciting. I'm still pretty shy, so it'll take me a little time. The whole transition for me will be difficult, as I highly doubt my parents will be all that supportive. I get poked fun at just for deciding to grow my hair out. So I can't tell them, hiding the dress is going to be a challange enough . lol But I know I can feel at home here. I hope to chat with, and hopefully meet some new friends too. I travel to Vancouver, B.C. a fair bit CJ.
Thanks again everyone for makign me feel so welcome. Have a Merry Christmas to you all.
