Hello there!

I just joined this forum, so here's my basic introduction: I'm a 31yr MtF CDer/TG who's been in the closet about 98% of my life, up until now. I've been toying around with dressing for about 15+/- years off and on, with only 1-2 people close enough to know and understand my natures. Up until a year ago I would have never, EVER even thought about digging into research of transgendered issues, rights, expression, you name it.

The fates decided to grace me, however, about 9-10 months ago with an GG SO-GF that, to my amazement for only the second time in my life, was generally accepting of the idea of me dressing! What has followed in the months afterwards has been a whirlwind of expression the likes of which I never would have imagined possible (but, perhaps, had always secretly desired) but have begun to change my life in every way.

In regards to transitioning, I can only say that I am not completely sure where I stand. I have just recently begun electrolysis to remove my beard and related hair, though I do not intend to go any farther at this time. Slow and steady wins the race, and I'm doing my best to drive through the fog with both eyes open!

Best to you all, and look forward to chatting soon. :)

Hi Angel,
A big hug and a huge welcome to the forum, transitioning is a very big step and takes time.
I have openly dress in front of my wife for 45 years and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Welcome, Angel!

You'll find plenty of kindred spirits here to share with, and no shortage of those who will envy your good fortune with your significant other. Keep in mind that even though she's accepting and encouraging there can still be emotional tripwires for her along the way. If she's at all interested you night want to encourage her to join the forum, too.

As for the sudden desire to get involved in transgender issues? I hear you loud and clear! I was amazed to discover the same urge as I started to consider what it might mean to out myself to more people. Please do feel free to share your thoughts and experiences around here. The sense of community is one of the most powerful allies I've found in taking the steps I have, and we all have a lot to learn from one another.

Hi Angel
Welcome to this lovely place from me, a plain olde English CDer. An understanding SO is a great blessing. Slow and steady is a great pace =D> .

Hi, Angel, and welcome to the Forum! Your GF is invited to join, we'd love to hear from her, too!

Slow-and-steady equals "Baby steps, honey; baby steps!" which is probably our best motto here!
