Hello to all CDs of all persuasions. Please let me know if I ever speak in any fashion that may be considered inappropriate. I am new to discussing and talking openly about CD. I'll try to describe to you about my recent discovery of my interest in cross-dressing, so read on ladies.

I used to try on my mothers stockings when I was a teen and thought I looked pretty sexy from the thighs down. I attributed it to wanting to see a girls legs and not having the real thing available. I can say the thoughts of cross dressing did not really enter my conscious mind for decades. I did dress rather hot in my hippy days in the early 70s. Satin pants and sequined shirts, but that was fashionable for guys then. I separated and divorced after 20+ years of marriage and met the right woman, my life partner, almost 4 years ago. We still can't quite remember what, maybe a silly dare or something that got me wearing her skimpy lace G-string but I felt sexy and she thought I looked sexy. Then we talked more and all the thoughts came flooding back about wearing frilly things. We decided to go for shoes first to create a look. We purchased the black & red 5 inch stilettos that you see in my avitar from Paddy a few years ago. Then black lace top, stay-up stockings and transluscent G-string panties. I felt sexy, she loved it.

Just before this revelation we discovered another one. I had experimented with shaving my arms and chest years before. My partner has always liked the idea of hairless guys. So we waxed my whole body. Took about 8 hours. Once again I felt great and she loved it more than she realized she would. Now I get a total body waxing, once a month by the same woman who waxes her. Now it takes just over 2 hours.

Now the tricky part for me is that I enjoy the way I look as a mature man in my late 50s I have a shaved bald head and a white goatee. I'd love to be able to rid myself of the beard temporarily to complete do the female makeover and then tomorrow have my beard back as I don't like me without it. My partner is also very much in love with the male look I have. Guess I'll have to be satisfied with being half woman some of the time. SIGH!!

PS: I just love shoe and lingerie shopping with my partner - for her or for me.

So happy to see another older (if you'll forgive - I'm 73) CD with an accepting wife. When I came back to crossdressing when I retired some ten years ago, she was quite enthusiastic, but her sexual drive is falling off. However, I could not ask for a more supportive partner for my 'hobby'.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. I got to say that discovering something so large about oneself after hanging around this planet for 50+ years is pretty awesome. To have found a partner who not only accepts but enjoys this new dimension of my personality, is truly wonderful. I have also recently joined a similar forum in Toronto, run by Walk on the Wildside, a store catering to cross-dressers. They also have a club where we can meet as grils, but I have not been there yet. I am still in a quandary about how to dress. I am mostly into lingerie and to dress as a woman I would want to shave off my goatee. I am presently have a shaved bald head and a goatee and love the way i look as a man. My partner also loves the way I look so shaving the beard is a no no. However if I was to dress completely as a woman, I would want to go all the way with wig and makeup and no beard.

Oh decisions decisions!! What's a girl to do?

Are you on Wildside? (Toronto cross-dressing board with store and lounge)

I have shopped in the store for shoes and am looking into something that will give me a butt. I have the typical male barely-a-butt and no hips.

Wildside also have a lounge where girls meet in full regalia (haven't been yet but will go soon) with music and karaoke etc. The bulletin board is similar to this with mostly Canuck girls but also Americans and a few other travelers who like to take advantage of a place to shop, and meet.

It's in the heart of the gay/trans-gendered neighbourhood so cross-dressers don't even get a second look. I am straight but find the company of gays quite like the company of women, whose company I prefer.

I am also 50+, although I keep myself in good shape and think I still look good. I recently got outed, or rather chose to be outed and my wife (so far) has accepteed my cross dressing. Obviously, there a are a lot of emotiojnal attitudes that are challenged when a woman's spouse admits CDing. My wife, though, said that she could accept nt cross dresing, although she did nto want to particpate. I think I need to work with her. because one of my fantasies is to go out en-femme with her to shop. I would also like to have sex en-femms.

Nice to hear that your wife accepts you being who you are and the same man she married.

My life partner (we are happily un-married as we've both been there before) and I have enjoyed intimacy, with me in full sexy frillies but I have never before fully dressed in women's outer wear.

Since being on this site we have talked about me dressing as a woman completely and last night I dressed in a nice short A-line skirt with one of her tops and a stuffed bra (no silicone forms yet). With a smile on her face, she said "I hate you. You look better in a skirt than I do

Great story and I will attest to the fact that your legs look great (if your legs are pictured). Mine aren't bad either and my wife made a similar comment regarding some of the pictures she saw.
