New to this great forum and would like to introduce myself to the group and say "hello" and share a little about myself. So here goes; married to a most wonderful woman, we live in southern Nevada, however we call the northwest (Oregon and Washington) our home and will be going back there when I retire, which will be soon, a girl does not give out her age but I will say that I am seasoned. One of the many elements that attracted me to this forum was in the Fun stuff while CDing board is a fantastic post about sharing CD friendly places for traveling; absolutely great info and I hope to not only learn but also contribute to this topic. We both love to cook and enjoy traveling, but do travel mostly by car and not go through the hassle of airports. Have been looking into a vacation by train, but have not been able to find out if that would be a major hassle or not.
So Hello girls and thank you for this forum and letting me be a part of it.

Welcome, Jamie, we look forward to another "seasoned" senior citizen's sharing with us. There are a few of us senior types here, however if Carol Ann says anything - that broad is older than dirt and even though she lives in the Ozarks she is one smart cookie!

Oh, and we would love to have your wife join and share with us and there is also a "private" area for GG's to talk about us and we can't even see what they say, just like real life!

-wel- Jamie,

Let me warn you about Virginia as her loving SO SilverLady keeps her locked up in the wood shed and only let's her out now and again.

Now she lives up in the mountains and has to wear heels with one shorter then the other and to boot she is a blond and you know what they say about blonds.

But more then that she is a loveing person with a heart as big as the moon, but be warned don't shoot pool with her and DonnaT.

Glad to have you with us and know you will find loving and careing people here. ((G))

With all of this talk about pumps that have one heal shorter than the other so as to be able to walk in the hills, I may have to confess that when I need something comfy and quick to slip into for a let's say somewhat neutral non-defining, camo is my first choice. Who in their right mind will question the gender issues of a chick in camo and I think that in the T-shirt I look very shaply; besides with all of those lovely pant pockets you do not have to even bother carrying your purse. Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Hi, Jamie, and welcome to the Forum!

My recent experience with trains is that there is nowhere near the invasive hassle of airlines. Of course, that was prior to the Detroit incident of two days ago...

We have members who have traveled en femme on airlines, even post 9/11/01, but not me, not even in drab.

Hugs,

Bernice
