I am 30 years old and I found out about 2 weeks ago (on Valentine's weekend) that my boyfriend is a crossdresser. It was a very difficult way I found out, at first I thought he was cheating on me! When he got home from work, I asked him what was going on and he came out to me. I am the first person he has ever told and I am very happy that he is happy that I know. We are both excited to explore this together and strengthen our relationship along the way.
I joined the forum so that I can get more information about crossdressing and so that I can share my own experiences in order to hopefully help others. I look forward to getting to know everyone and making many new friends as well!

Hey Jen,
After the initial shock wore off I'm glad you didn't end the relationship. It's a hard pill to swallow, that your man like to dress in womens' clothing, but if you two really love each other it can be a wonderful experience.
One thing to keep in mind, you haven't lost the man you love, you have gained a new girlfriend. Hope the two of you can enjoy and explore all the possibilites that lay in front of you .

Welcome Jen,
You know your the seocnd SO to "have this experience" in the past couple of weeks and to also be initially accepting. You will find that from my perspective it is a gift and if both parties in the relationship are willing to accept it and not let it overwhelm the relationship it can be a true asset to both of you.
Learn your way around the forum, read what has been posted and most of all communicate with your SO. Talk about it, ask questions and assuming "she" is not already a member, have her join as well. You both with find that we are nice folk!!!
Love,
Virginia

Hello Jen--
Welcome, and come on in. You're the first person he ever told? That's a big deal for both of you. Don't be surprised if the shock comes back from time to time for a while. It takes some getting used to all of this.

Welcome to the forum. It gladdens my heart when I hear of a SO that is NOT freaked out about Crossdressing. My wife has seen how much happier I am, less stressed, and she even enjoys going out with me fully dressed doing whatever ones does daily.
I hope the two of you grow and enjoy life.
Hugs,
JoAnn
