Hi to everyone!

I have had my little blessing for 62 years. And after all of the denial and inner turmoil I made the discovery that she...is me.

All that time fighting myself. Now, to me, it seems so silly and unremarkable.

I have fully accepted who I am and now I am enjoying it. It is much more than just clothes for me.

Tonight, I was shown total acceptance by my significant partner. Unconditional love on her part. I was struggling with broaching the subject when she said "You told me years ago."
I said "Yes, I know. And you were quick to reject it!"
She said "You are everything to me and I don't care! Do you need makeup? Cause I've got lots!"
I was totally blown away!
THEN...she said "You can be the woman of the house, I can be the man, or whatever it takes! All I want is to be with you!"
I had come to accept that spending my life alone was the best for me. She had kept after me for months after I told her it was best we were not together and tonight I told her that if she insisted on being with me she had to know the truth because I would not hide it any longer.

I am so very happy right now!

I am so glad to be here and I am looking forward to meeting many new friends.

I'm glad your SO has expressed her acceptance now.

However, please don't overwhelm her right off. It's take a long time for you to totally accept yourself, so I've a feeling it may take your SO a while too, regardless of what she is saying now, out of love.

Yes, I agree with you completely!

NEVER having been in public, this will take some getting used to! For both my SO and me. She has known for over ten years. We are not married but, we have been very close.

It will be a slow going for some time. That fear of being "outed" runs deep. And... I have a zero confidence level.

I can't describe how I feel about all this. Apprehensive fits well. I do feel lucky and blessed! Now if I can just keep it from turning into a train wreck... I will know a lot more about all this after some time has passed. We'll see.

It's great to have an accepting SO! Don't worry about train wrecks, as long as you make her feel involved and that your crossdressing is in no way a threat to her feminity or to the place she has in your heart, everything should be just fine.
