I just wanted to say hello and thanks for allowing me to be a member here. I am a 58 year old, heterosexual cross dresser who has been in love with feminine things since I tried on a pair of stockings at the ripe old age of 12. At that time, I thought that I was the only guy with these kind of feelings and felt very alone and ashamed of my desires. There was no Internet so I had no idea there were so many just like me. People were so much more conservative and I didn't even know how to obtain the things that I wanted as I would have never ventured into a store to buy anything even remotely feminine. I remember getting my first piece of girly clothing, when I found a pair of white fishnet pantyhose at a laundromat which had apparently been left in the dryer. What a prize that was!! I continued to carry my little secret into my 20's, until I got married and told my wife, after several years. She was kinda okay with it,at first, but soon tired of it. We later divorced, but it wasn't due to the dressing.
Fast forward to today, I am still basically in the closet, but, do underdress often. I have become much bolder an often go out in public wearing women's jeans, a not to feminine blouse, and often times ladies shoes, but still presenting as a man. And yes, I get some strange looks,at times, especially if I am showing visible breasts. I have even gotten several bra fittings, without any trouble. Bras are one of my favorite pieces of female clothing and I am even a member of a forum specifically dealing with this one item of clothing. Well, again I am pleased to be a new member and am looking forward to getting to know others here.
