New here from West Michigan starting a support group

Hello ladies!
I am new here but not exactly new to enfemme. A heterosexual crossdresser who has been happily married a long time, I like to go out in public. I usually go to places like the mall, restaurants, big box stores, shoe stores, clothing stores, and even the Post Office. Frequently I am out all day until late evening. I put a lot of effort in to looking like what people expect. I am all but totally ignored and I am in bliss.

Why is this so much fun?

For quite some time I have been looking for others to share time on enfemme outings. It is kind of lonely doing this by myself. There is no support group or activity oriented group in West Michigan specifically for crossdressers. I think that two or more girls out together would be more fun and safer. I decided to do something about this.

I am starting a Grand Rapids based crossdress support group. We will meet in a discreet and private location where we won't be bothered by the general public. There are facilities for those needing to dress. The meeting will be as short as possible. Then those wishing to may go with me as a group to a pre-selected restaurant or other times to a store or resale shop which has agreed to stay open just for us. Afterwards those needing to may return to the meeting place to change back to guy. This group will be everything the straight crossdresser has been looking for. Total discretion, you will only be known by your girl name. Total privacy at the meetings, no drop ins, everyone will be checked to eliminate predators and others dangerous to our safety and secrecy. The building is card access and we will be the only ones there. Everyone will be dressed. The restaurants and stores will be pre-selected for our needs.

We are going to have FUN!
Message me for details.
BillieAnn

Welcome, Billie Ann. It sounds very good, your idea. I've never been out (and I live in London), but it does cover an awful lot of the worries someone like me has (apart from the feeling I'm not ready to go out yet).

Hi, BillieAnn, and welcome to the forum! ..o).. We do have a few members from that side of the state, too.

Your poll . . . that does not belong in the New Members section and so I've deleted it. #-o However, please feel free to start a topic in the Upcoming Events and Local Groups section (but no poll, please).

Hi BillieAnn--
That does sound like a lot of fun. I hope you can find at least four or five others who want to give it a go. But it's good that you've been able to get out all this time, and you've got support at home.

It is nice to be "totally ignored." I like it when someone glances at me, and then goes back to being lost in their own thoughts. I'm just another middle-aged woman in the crowd, to them. It's a different reaction if they look away because they can't quite believe what they just saw.

Ladies,
This is going to happen! At last what we all have been looking for, friends just like us, secrecy, privacy, FUN.

I have six girls who are attending so far and there is room for more.

So if you are trying to decide if this is a reality, I assure you it is.
Billie
