Hello everyone

Hello,

I am newly registered to the forum, although I have been reading many of the topics for several days. I am truly appreciative of the sense of community I get as I wandered through the many conversations posted here.

I am married to a crossdresser and have known about it for quite awhile. To be honest, I just said do what you do, but leave me out of it. Over the last year or so I began to talk to him about it and he seemed eager to share, or rather I should say desperate to share. The more I found out, the more unsure I have become. I know I love him and I am trying to understand, but I struggle with the whole situation. This is part of my attempt to understand a bit more.

Welcome, Tanya.

Well, one basic problem is there's no one explanation of what CDing is about. Quite often people give up trying to work it out and just enjoy the feelings - which are really very, very strong.

It just must be very hard to be in a situation where you're trying to have a meeting of minds with your husband, but all you get is confused.

Hi Tanya and -wel- ,

I can understand how you feel as there have been many just like you asking question, the best and most honest answers will come from your husband.
We have been married 49 1/2 years and have been a crossdresser since 14 and my wife doesn't understand fully but she is my mate and lover and has helped me along all these years.

You know what she would tell you?, "they are only clothes that cover the body not the person inside" besides crossdresers make good husbands *-*

Look forward to hearing how it's going (--)

Hi, Tanya, and welcome to the forum! ..o)..

I've always said that I have the best of both worlds . . . my macho man as well as my best girlfriend (Virginia, also a member), all wrapped up in the same package. I admit that they have spoiled me rotten because he does all the yard work and maintenance stuff while she does the majority of the cooking; me, I just continue to look gorgeous!

Besides, now he can't complain if it takes me longer to get ready when we're going out because Virginia takes longer to get ready than I do!! :P

Thank you all for the welcome. I am still in the process of working my way through the many posts here. Quite a few I have read have been very applicable to me and my husbands situation. It's somewhat comforting to just know we are not alone, and from a selfish perspective it's not just something that happened to me.

Hey Tanya,
-wel- You'll find a lot of answers here but the ones you really need will come from you SO. You already have one thing in your favor, love.

Speaking from personal experience, when you've kept a secret this big, for so long, there is a desperate need to share it. To find that person that you want to share it with... I can't explain just how jealous I am of your SO. And you can know this, when he shares with you and you still love him and try to understand, he will only love you all the more for it.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Hi Tanya -wel-

My second wife was tolerant of my crossdressing, but my daughters think it was a ged send for them.

Welcome Tanya.
I think you will find that even though all of us here have much in common we also have differences in how we express our needs to dress.
