My name is heather. Or at least thats what i think i would want my name to be if i was a girl. I've done dressing since i was in kindergarten and like most i've waxed and waned on it, wondered what's wrong with me, if im gay or bi or whatever, and about if this is more than just dressing up and should take steps to become a woman. i dont have answers to any of these but i really dont have anyone to talk to thats not on one side of the extreme or the other so i dont have many beneficial conversations about it. I havent done as much dressing in the past few months because im finally old enough where my facial hair is actually starting to grow in and i at least wanted to see how i looked like that lol. I welcome anyone to message me about anything, just needing more people to talk to and not feel so alone, its been a rough time for me lately.

Welcome, Heather.
Most people here aren't on one side of the extreme or the other. The knack is to find the balance for you if you're somewhere in the middle. Just because you dress up doesn't mean you're gay or bi. Most male CDs are hetero.
If you want to talk about your problems specifically (your "rough time"), you can start a topic in the "Coping with our femme side" section if they're to do with CDing. Or in the "Off-topics" section if they're not.

Hi hon and

,
So I have to take it you are a young man with funny feelings, well not to worry in time all things work out.
I started crossdressing at 14 but I had a loving mother who would talk to me and let me be myself.
No you are not gay so put that away unless you prefer boys over girls and as far as CD'ing goes no big deal but you have to be man enough to handle it.
As said by Anthony most of us are hetero and a lot of us like me dress all the time as we enjoy it and it can become very fun. So relax my friend you are very normal with feelings you don't understand yet.
Come join us in chat one day and ask all you want

Hi Heather,

to the forum. Most cdrsers have the same feelings and begginings but some go further in the lifestyle and start to transition to become women fulltime. I dress fully and enjoy myself for being who I am. Once you accept yourself all the feelings fall into place, so join in and learn and have fun discovering your fem side. You are deffinately not alone, come chat sometime

Hi Heather,

aboard.
For many of us, having facial hair isn't going to prevent us from enjoying the feeling we get from wearing something fem.

Well, you can always try shaving the beard off, satisfying your desire to dress up (?a few times) and then letting the beard grow back. There's Thai drag queen, Sira Soda, who appears to do this:
