New To This And Glad For Support

Hello all, I am new here and was referred by a past member who I recently confessed to that I have been struggling with my closet identity for most of my life (23 years) I began dressing as a young child and not knowing any better told my conservative parents I wanted to be a girl. They responded with violence to 'fix' me. So anyways I am still nervous to be expressing myself but am looking forward to finding acceptance with people and myself as well. Thank you I am happy to know that I am not alone.
