I think that I'm the only one here with a non-feminine name...
I just got hear and already everyone's making me uncomfortable!!!
That's okay, though, I think I'll make it through.
I hope everyone is having a good day!

No you are not the only one here with a non-fem name. I do not use a fem name because I do not feel like a girl I just love the clothes. Please hang around for a while and we will do what we can to help you feel welcome.

Hi DGU,
Welcome to the forum!
You're really feeling uncomfortable because of the name thing?

Please don't. Going by a feminine name is absolutely
not a requirement, as you can see with our friend Gaven, above. I look forward to hearing more from you.
Love,
CJ

Hi there,
Thanks for joining us!

You remind me of some of the folks I hung out with in HS. Naturally that was a billion years ago. Actually you remind me (from your writing) of a very close friend I had. Together we made the ambiguously odd duo.
I hope you like it here!!

It's great to have you with us!

Hi DGU,
A big welcome, don't feel uncomfortable, no need at all. If you fancy shortening your name to sound femme, why not Demi ?
Great to have you with us
Love

Hi Celes, and Welcome
Don't be silly, there's no need to feel uncomfortable, there are no rules here, except to be yourself and happy.
I went thru two thirds of my dressing life with a male name, it is only recently I have choosen a fem name.
Just enjoy life, and have fun.
Love Amelie

Hello Celes,
To be honest I saw this post a few nights ago and thought to myself "non-fem name???????"..... hum.... Well okay, Celes.... I honestly can't determine if that is fem or not, but it sounds nice (in that inner head voice).... and as Gaven (Hah... Look Gaven, I spelled it right) pointed out... there is much more masculine names here.... We are all nothing more than what we are... which I think is a good thing....
Names, dress, appearence, etc... we are still just beings.... and the being inside is what is important.....
But just to summize...

Celes, I am not worried about your name, I worry more that you feel uncomfortable here, relax have decafe latte. Don't get your panties in a bind. (love that word) I will be here watching for our posts. We are all here to have some friendship and understand each other and ourselves, a little better. I have dressed for a really long time and had no fem name until I posted here, (old gf name) Miss her alot. I think your name that you are using is great. I like it. It's only a name however , how you feel is much more important. ...........Welcome ,Welcome, Welcome, ......Kristen ( hey were almost neighbors)

Hi Celes,
I see you changed your name. There's still a link to the one you originally registered with (which I thought was a pretty cool one): Celes, from "Celeste," a French word meaning "heavenly." Now, where else would a demi-god reside?
Love,
CJ
