Hi, everyone!

When my husband first found this site, it seemed like a really nice community of friends. It took him a good while to join, and because we are really good buddies, usually wherever he goes, I go!

We have been married for almost 25 years and during that time, he has introduced me to many of his interests, but I have to admit, the crossdressing is the most unique. About a year ago, he told me about this need to occasionally put on heels and hose. After the initial shock and subsequent long hours discussing this at the dinner table, I agreed to go shopping with him for these two items. We did purchase a really cute pair of shoes (we jokingly refer to these as "the shoes that started it all"), but I did have a hard time controlling my feelings as he sat on the edge of the bed and put them on.

My husband has many wonderful characteristics and we have a very close relationship. I could see that crossdressing was very important to him in an unexplainable way. He did a lot of research and showed me professional and caring information, such as this website.

Fast forward to today -- now he has almost a bigger and nicer wardrobe than I do! LOL! I lost count of the total number of shoes he has! We usually go on shopping trips together, and while he seems more relaxed now when he wanders off on his own, he still needs me to "run cover" for him when we go to the bra and underwear area.

Life has sure been interesting living with Missy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! We are in it for the long haul!

Thanks for being a really neat group of people!

Hi Mrs. Missy--
"We are in it for the long haul!" I like that spirit--it sounds like you'll be able to maintain it. I can really understand why SOs and family have such a hard time with this, and it's nice when occasionally someone is able to go past that.

There's more than room enough for you to participate here as well! 8) In fact, this is one of the great things about the forum, this participation from the SO's. Welcome, welcome, welcome. I look forward to hearing more from you!

Hi to all,

Thanks for the nice welcoming words.

Joanne - I see you're new too! Thanks for making room for me!

Carol Ann - I, too, am still having a little bit of a problem with Missy's cleavage (although I can't resist poking/touching them once in a while!). However, I find that humor does go a long way toward remedying this problem.

Hi, Anita - Yes...the long haul...that's me and Missy. We are an inseparable team.

Hey, Curly..Another SO! Hooray for us!

CJ - thanks so much for the triple welcome! I hope that I can help whomever with some of my thoughts and observations.

Carolynn - thanks for stopping by to welcome me. This is fun!

Love to all,

Mrs. Missy(SO)

Well quine its braw te hae ye in oor company.
Yer aye welcome here!

Twenty five years of marriage, my wife and I were wed on 20 Dec 2000. But my SO is not able to participate as you do. Tell Missy she is a very lucky person.

Wow Missy!!
Hope you don't mind if I live vicariously through your relationship?!  Well actually it ain't that funny. We made it to 27 years, and she says the CD'ing is not the reason, for out separation, but you two are very fortunate in that you talk about it and appear to enjoy it.
Hope you hang around and share with us.

Hello again...

Hi, Kerri - A Scottish greeting...how nice! I feel honored! Missy is very interested in the origins of languages, and will have some questions for you.

Actually, I feel as if I'm the lucky one! I have a wonderful and caring husband, and now I have the older sister I always wanted! While we don't share clothes, we have borrowed each other's jewelry.

I feel sad when I hear that an SO doesn't want to participate in something that the other spouse really enjoys, such as crossdressing. I heard someone say that as long as something is not illegal, immoral or fattening, what harm is there! So, that's my philosophy, too!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Hi, Virginia - Sure you can live vicariously through Missy and me! I'm sorry to hear of your separation. Keep your chin up and keep doing the things that give you pleasure and lift you up, especially during this difficult time. Perhaps if you do make that final cut with your relationship, it will free you to find someone who will accept you, totally.

Thanks for stopping by to welcome me!

Hugs to all,

Mrs. Missy(SO)

Hi Mrs. Missy,

Sorry to be a late come, but I do want to welcome you to the forum. The posts by SO's, like yours, help women who come here and stay anonymous more than I think people appreciate.

Thank you for adorning the site with a very excellent post not only describing your acceptance, but how it evolved. :)

It's a pleasure to have you with us!!! :)

Hi Beauty,

As the saying goes "better late than never"! I'm so glad you stopped by to welcome me! I want to thank you for administering this great forum. I'm sure it is a lot of work and you do a really terrific job! Where would we be without you? We'd be lost in cyberspace!

Thank you for your kind words. I normally think of myself as a "lurker", but I'll try to do whatever I can to help someone who was just like me -- unaware and uninformed.

Hugs all around!
