 Hello to everyone. My name is Elinor.
This is my first post, and I'm a little nervous.
I have twice bought a skirt in person from a shop. =D>
I once stood on the hotel balcony wearing a skirt in daylight. =D>
I have gone out enfemme a few times at night to feel what it was like. 8)
Wow! I loved it truly loved it. Wish I could do it again and again.
I'm in the closet but dress in a skirt most days. :)
Happy to find via the internet that I'm normal crossdressing Guy.
I prefer Janegirl myself.

Tried to post a photo but when I make it smaller it changes so that it will not be accepted. :? :( :-k
I wore my first dress aged four. And certainly fantasised about being a girl then.
Now hetrosexual 55 year old male who loves women. But like to pretend now and then. Like I said normal. Skirts feel better. =P~
Well that's my introduction Girls.

Hi Elinor,

Another Jock eh! An unusual way to spell your name Elinor is it linked to something historical.
Edinburgh is my favourite city in Scotland, it beats my home town Aberdeen and is far better than Glasgow.
Have you found your way to Kinghorn in Fife yet, there's a good group meet there?
Welcome to the Forum!

PS: My favourite tartan is Menzies Black & White, whats yours?

Well, I guess I have to ask..... what is a Janegirl? And what is the origin of the word (expression)?

Well I thought the word sissy and nancyboy[meaning homosexual] are wrong in todays society. Transvestite is not much cared for [in part due to Hollywood movies] because in peoples minds they are crazy knife welding murders. Crossdresser is okay but we know most men who do cross dress are hetrosexual, in most peoples minds we must be gay.
What ever the percentage is of males who wear female modes the same percentage died on Battlefields, Become Firemen and rush into the Twin Towers, Work on oil rigs ect. I don't think Nancy or sissy is right.
Crossdresser Okay! I champion Janegirl!

A replacement for the word sissy should be Janegirl.
If girls can be Tomboys why can't boys be Janegirls?
Girls have one cromeosome and boys have two.
It follows if a female can be a Tomboy then its natural for some boys
to be Janegirls.
Males have part male part female in them. Many have a sensitive side
and love feminine things.
Some become soldiers others doctors: some miners others hairdressers;
some boxers others dancers, farmers or actors.
Women ask men to get in touch with their feminine side, well many do
just that!
Hetrosexual men love women and everything feminine, including
petticoats. Yes Even Wearing Them. Just like a lot of women.
Anyway I thought Janegirl is a better suited word to describe a guy
who wears a petticoat.
I champion Janegirl to be in correspondence in future.
Elinor. Janegirl.

And that is all there is to it. Hey its only my thoughts no one need go along with it.

Thanks Elinor,

I take it that you made it up. I really like it. It has a cute ring to it.

I have long been interested in the origin of words and expressions. Some are so obscure and ancient that we can't be sure what the true origin was. I believe that all of them got their start just like this. It will be interesting to see if Janegirl ever gets used outside of our group.
