Just found site

I just found this site yesterday, and must say it is loaded with information, coming from all points of view, which I find very helpful. I like how the site is broken down by category.
I have been married for about 2 1/2 years and told my wife about being a CrossDresser one month ago to the day. She was very calm and excepting the day I told her (shock?), but the next day was rather "freaked out" and would not even talk to me, which has never happened before.
Since then she has calmed down and is working at understanding and accepting this side of me, though we have a ways to go. She does understand that this is not going away, that it is part of me. She does not have any wish to see me dressed at this point (which I am not ready for either), but did paint my toenails the other night and gave me advice on doing my fingernails.
I figure my gender is about 60% male to 40% female, with a little flex from day to day. I am a very kind and gentle person, hardly ever get angry and have great patience, all of which I attribute to my female side. I can fix or build just about anything, love power tools.
I found my self earlier this night punching a hole in a cement wall to run a dryer vent, and stopping to look and my pink nails, saying to my self "I better be careful, I might chip a nail"
I am trying to find balance in my two selfs, something I have fought all my life, but somehow sharing with my wife (the first person I ever told) is helping me find my center.
