I joined this fantastic Forum this week. My name is Melanie Rudd. Many know my story from my wife's books. I am 39 several times over, am now retired and enjoy being Melanie most of the time. In Houston I have been involved with the Houston area TG community for 24 years and currently serve as the leader of the local Tri-Ess chapter, board member of the Houston TG Unity Committee (which represents the 6 Houston TG groups), and also serve on the area GLBT Planning Committee. I especially enjoy lending my big shoulder to those who are coming out of the closet and into the sun light. My wife, Peggy, and I enjoy our other interest - planning crossdressing cruises with 5 planned in 2005. In two weeks we will be with 43 on a 10 day Panama Canal cruise out of Miami. On this cruise we have 18 wives. That boat and the other passengers just thought they have seen glitz at night. Wait to they see our girls!
Come visit us in Houston. Our annual big event is April 16 when we have our Unity Banquet. This event brings together members of the six Houston TG groups with participation from the leaders of the Houston G & L groups. Tickets are $40 and can be ordered online at ticketweb.com. This year we expect to have over 250 at the event.
Melanie,
Welcome and it seems you have been a pioneer and ambassador for us!
Many Thanks for all you do!
A cruise sounds like so much fun. Please keep us posted on all the things that you do!

Hello Melania, what a wonderfull surprise. The wife and I had the pleasure of meeting you and your wonderfull wife at a Tri-Ess meeting a couple of years back in Houston. That was my first time out in public and your wife took my wife under her wing and took all the fears and doughs away and was her big sister for the evening. I surely love that group of ladies,so anyway a big big to you and Peggy. Carol Ann & Lynn
Hi Melanie,
I have read some of Peggy's works. I have much admiration for her and you. Glad you could join us. I'm sure many here can draw from your experiences. I hope to hear more from you.
Enjoy the forum.
Hugs,
Kyra
P.S. - Have fun on the boat trip.
