Alana,
Welcome and from the western side of Colorado - they do something out there called uh???? what's it called ??? oh snow skiing?? Strap a couple of 2x4's to your feet and in 40 below zero go into the mountains and try crashing into trees??? Not for this girl! Just kidding of course, but Let it be known, I hate cold weather!
Hope you stay and participate, we may have some of the answers you seek.

Virginia,

Thank you for the welcome!

Actually, I live in the Banana Belt of Colorado. Little or no snow usually, though it gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I've lived in places that actually got more snow and got much colder.

Skis really aren't 2x4s, more like 1x4s. Am a cross-country skier rather than downhill.

However, I do like to curl up with a good book in front of a fireplace.

Love,

Alana

Hi Alana,
Welcome to the forum from another Coloradoan. We're over here on the east side of the mountains. Just moved here back in June, and I'm a little disappointed at the lack of snowfall. Oh yeah, the mountains get tons of it, but I want a little more in my front yard. 8)

Anyway, you've found the best spot in the world (IMHO) and I'm sure you will find answers to the questions in your mind. There's a wealth of knowledge on this site and quite a few wonderful ladies as well.

I hope you like it.
Hugs,
Kyra ..o)..

Hi Alana,

Welcome to the forum! 8) Hope you enjoy.

Oh, and don't listen to Kyra--she's under a lot of pressure these days. Why else would she believe that Colorado and not Quebec is the best spot? Heh. After all, we've got SNOW up here! !!tongue!!

Love,
CJ
