Hello after a long time

Hi Girls. I have been away such a long time that I have decided to introduce myself again. I am Mariaa and thanks to you girls I was able to begin to accept my dressing orientation forty years after I began feel it. I've have been away for the forum for about a year but that doesn'r mean that I have not been dressing. I have actually made a lot's of progress in leaving part of my dressed up as a girl. I have moved from Mariaa leaving out of a suitcase to a real dresser. My dresser has space for my wig, shoes (45 pairs
) Thanks to my partner (GG) who has supported me and given me the space to live my fantacy. We still have a regular "hetereosexual" relatioship during the week exept on Fridays when is Mariaa's day. I love it because it is a 5 hour event that brings full satisfaccion to both of us. Anyway, I am not not out in the street yet but I do feel more confortable with my girl side. I don't feel like a werido any more after I do it. My next fantacy is to take some pictures of my dressed outside in the open. Not in a piblic pace with other peoiple seen me but just outside. I am trying to convince Terri to be my photographer. Ok, thats enogh from Mariaa. I love you girls !!

Welcome back, MariaA . . . and I'm glad the 45 pair of shoes is a typo . . . I *so* hate competition. Oh, uhm, I currently have 55 pair of heels, 10 pairs of boots, and I haven't counted my flat sandals or tennis shoes yet. And no, those are not typos!!

This is Maria from the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a single crossdresser who goes out to transgendered events in the Bay Area. I have been out and about for about 2 1/2 years now. Yes, I have been occasionally mistaken for you!

Ah, poor Silver Lady... only about 60 pairs of footwear... I can feel your pain!
Actually, that's a good number, I think. I'll admit to my "Imelda" days in the past, when I had at some point about 110 pairs of shoes. (Back when I still had a storage unit to keep all my Gaby stuff) but well... those were the days!

Maria, it's delightful to see people return to the forum even though they have a good support network at home. I'm glad this isn't just a community for crisis but represents an entire spectrum of experiences and forms of expression.
I'm particularly happy for you, not just because it turns out you've been able to control your shoe collection better than some (ahem) but because it sounds like you've found a wonderful balance in life. I look forward to hearing more from you, and hopefully to running into you in the chatroom one of these days when I find enough time to spend more of it around here.

You girls are all just great. I want to thank all of you for the nice and encouraging comments. I also want to apologize for all the terrible typos on my message. I didn't realize that it was so bad ubntil I re read it myself (except for the 45 shoes one). Hi Maria, so I see that there are two of us, thanks for your comments and it is nice to see that I am not alone. I hope that people getting you confused with me, was not a negative experience since I am relatively new and my comments and/or questions may not be really sophisticated and interesting. Any way, thanks, every body. I'll be around a little more and bring some new pics soon.
