Hello to everyone. I'm new to this media, new to forums and new to being willing to discuss/seek answers on this topic. I'm 63 years old and have been crossdressing off and on since I was 13. I have adult children and a wife that doesn't understand or accept my desire to be feminine. I will never be able to dress 24/7 and the age factor is working against me but my inner feelings to be female just continue to grow more intense year by year. I'm very happy to have discovered this web site and to have read so many stories that let me know I'm not alone.

Love to all,

Andi

Sweetheart you are only as old as you feel and make up can do wonders, why do you thing GG wear it?. Take a look at Carol Ann in the photo gallery

I'm sorry Carol. I didn't intend the comment to mean that age in itself is a bad thing. I meant to say that at this point in my life, given my circumstances, my age doesn't afford as many opportunities to do things different as maybe I had 40 years ago. On the other hand society wasn't as tolerant 40 years ago as it is today. I'm just having a little pity party because I see all the years gone by, I don't know how many more I'll have to enjoy this side of myself, and I feel trapped between what has to be and what I think I want. Am I making any sense?????? #-o

Welcome Andi, from another old broad! I have to condone what my sisters have said, it's a Mark Twain thing, "You're only as old as you feel!"

You will find many discussions about going out and the results from those who seek anonymity to the "in your face" approach. And yes, "society = the great unwashed" is a bit more tolerant now than in the past and that does make it easier to "Go Forth Woman, and BE!"

Welcome and we look forward to your participation.

Age?

Post by Connie »

Hi Andi, Welcome to the forum!

About age:
It's all mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

or, as a wonderful woman once said, "Getting older isn't so bad when you consider the alternative."

Andi,
Please forgive me as I didn't mean to get everyone in and uproar over my post. It was just my way of saying your never to old. :sorry:

Age works against us all-the best case scenario is that we get old and then die. In the meantime you can get in touch with the older woman within.........I've come to understand that when I think about being a beautiful young woman the operative word is young but the truth is I have survived my youth and have now achieved something that many do not get to experience- middle age. Thats a good thing.
