Welcome CarolRose. We would love to have you as an active part of our sorority. My SO is also from Michigan. I am sure you two will find things to chat about as well.

Hi, CarolRose, and welcome to the Forum! You'll find several of your Michigan sisters here, as well.
As my CD, Virginia, has mentioned, I'm a native Michiganian - born in the Motor City, raised in Warren, to be precise - from what part of the hand do you hail?

Hey, Lilly, we "trolls" love our "yoopers" . . . and if you think about it, your part of the state can also be looked at as a reverse and sideways 'skinny' hand, too. Very pretty country up there, especially in the summer, and I've spent many vacations in the UP and upper LP.
For the unknowing, anyone who lives 'below' the Mackinac Bridge are called 'trolls' . . . in this case, I'm right proud to be called a troll!
*Hugs*

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome. SilverLady I to was born in the Motor City, raised there also. When I got out on my own I lived in a couple of the suburbs, now I am in the Port Huron area, love it, here to stay. Lilly, I have been to the UP a number of times, the peace, quiet, and beauty is wonderful. Take Care CarolRose
