Hi Patty,
The title of your post caught my eye. I remember my own very first post on this forum; I could've titled it "Absolutely Friggin' Petrified."
Don't be scared, Patty. You fell into a wonderful and astonishingly insightful group of human beings here. From all walks of life; from all corners of the globe; from all crossdressing vantage points. The forum is fairly small and fairly intimate. Virginia's not wrong when she calls it a sorority. It is. Being that this is so, we have a good chance of getting to know each other better and to share the ways in which we've learned to cope with (and to come to appreciate who) we are as both crossdressers and as individuals.
Though there may be, at times, healthy debate and crossed views here, there's not a mean bone in this forum's body. And when the crunch comes--as it occasionally does in every crossdresser's life--we stand by each other and soothe each other's souls as best as the miles that separate us will allow.
Welcome aboard, Patty. I hope you enjoy the time you spend here.
Love,
CJ
P.S.
My bad: I don't come to the New Members area of the forum nearly as often as I should, given the status of a Moderator. If any of you new members are reading this, along with Patty, I wish you all a warm welcome to the board.
