In this link, the forensic sketch artist never sees the person he is interviewing, nor the other people who have met them he also interviews. Sorta restores my faith in criminal sketches after a crime is committed. I think it is interesting to see how we focus on our faults, while those we meet focus on the better and more real things about us.
Kinda similarly, I am, like you, sorta used to seeing myself in the mirror. Yesterday I was walking into the postoffice which has reflective glass at the entrance to the main office where stamps and stuff are sold. I saw a woman approaching and thought "Hey, I know that woman." and then as I walked toward her realized it was me I was seeing. It was in the nature of an epiphany to see myself in my totality rather than in a mirror in the bedroom or bathroom. I liked what I saw. In fact I think I can say it made my day better to realize that lady was me.
Go Figure!!!
