Just a suggestion, but you might want to open up your forum so that guests may at least take a look at it and see if they like your offerings, like we do here.


Guests (your future members?) should be able to take a look around, read the rules/guidelines and the archives (those that are open to the public, that is), but they cannot post. If they like what they see, know that the members are fairly friendly toward each other (and the bickering/fighting are few and quickly stopped), and feel that they would like to become a part of that forum's "family," then they'll be more apt to register.

Personally, I would not join anything sight-unseen (and your forum is 'sight unseen'), and I know that I'm not the only one who feels that way.

For what it's worth, I've just re-checked the www.tgcamping.com site, and so far only the Rules page is accessible by the general public.

I stand by my previous post above . . . I still consider that forum "sight unseen", or should that be, "site unseen"?!?
