Hi CJ,
Well, this test wasn't a Gender Dysphoria Test it's kind of a "ha ha" Gender kind of test
I stopped after the 5th question.
Here are the categories you can fall in.
Gender Freak (0 - 60)
Gender Outlaw (61 - 100)
Gender Novice (101 - 175)
Well Gendered (176 - 235)
Captain Kirk (236 - 255)
I think I'll pass on this one.

Hi all,
Well, I also took the test precisely because it is a humorous one.
Plus, I've heard much about Kate Bornstein, even though I've never really read her Gender Outlaw or Gender Workbook. My results? A score of 84: Gender Outlaw.
Gender Outlaw
Honey, you're too far gone to make the climb back up to 'real' man or 'real' woman, working not only on your own gender, but the subject of gender itself for quite some time, huh? I'm willing to bet things are still a bit scary and a bit serious for you in your life. Your next step would be to let yourself explore some of the place that really thrill you, no matter the social taboos. Just be kind and compassionate when you are doing it.
Yup, that sorta sums it up for me.
Love,
CJ

Hi CJ.
I was in a mood last night so I took the test. Score: 69- Gender Outlaw. :o
The questions were amusing, as well as the self-direction of the potential answers.
I will have to find a copy of Kate's book. It promises to be a bit on the outrageous side, and that should be good.
Hugs

Taking the test was fun--many of the answers were hilarious.
I came in at 95, like my sisters who posted before me, a gender outlaw (although borderline.) Should we start a gang?
Oddly, whether the test is serious or not, the description comes pretty close to my own perceptions, for what it's worth.
Love,
Sara

Hi girls,
Beauty, sorry it took me so long to get around to replying. As you've probably noticed, I've been posting a little less these days; yup, work has kicked back into high gear!
Kate Bornstein is a performance artist and transgender advocate; she 's very visible as a social activist and also has a wicked sense of humour. What's a bit different about Kate is that, although ostensibly a MtF transsexual, she doesn't identify as such--she identifies as human first, and gendered second. She's a big proponent of self-determined gender (not just male or female). You'll find more info at the following links:

Thanks for this funny test. I have read Bornstein's "Gender Outlaw" long time ago and still am one ... gee, I think I have to tell my therapist
Your Gender Aptitude Score:
65
You have a range of possible scores from zero to 255, and if you haven't guessed it by now, when it comes to your Gender Aptitude (GA), smaller is better. But don't fret, please. It's just an aptitude, and like any other part of human potential, with a little or a lot of work you can always improve. Let's see what the numbers translate into.
If your GA was: Then your Gender Aptitude Level is:
0 - 60 Gender Freak
61 - 100 Gender Outlaw Honey, you're too far gone to make the climb back up to 'real' man or 'real' woman, working not only on your own gender, but the subject of gender itself for quite some time, huh? 101 - 175 Gender Novice
176 - 235 Well Gendered
236 - 255 You're Captain James T. Kirk!

Gender Novice
Gee, it's like you have one hand in respectability and the other hand someplace where both of you like it. You're not always taken for 'normal', are you? In fact, you probably get an infrequent but regualar bout of the gender willies from time to time, don't you? And a lot of this gender stuff is probably kinda new to you ... a little scary and a little thrilling, right? Maybe it's time to explore exactily what scares you. Go on ... you know how to be gentle with yourself.
