I sent this to the Mayor/commissioners of Largo FL, hoping to shame one or more into changing their mind with regard to firing S. Stanton.

Donna -

Thanks once again for another great article, I've saved this site for further reading, too!

Would you mind either posting the email addresses for the City of Largo's Mayor and Commissioners -or- sending them to me via PM? I think they should be inundated with positive articles, and they do need to be shamed into changing their votes in re: S. Stanton. They need to realize that they are practicing discrimination, and that is an abomination!

You know I think it's time WE all speak up for our rights and support all our sisters.

Commission@largo.com is for the whole board.

Note that they've already fired Mr. Stanton during last night's hearing.
To get around the trans discrimination, I believe they relied on "lack of confidence" in his continued ability to do his job effectively. As a leader.

Cop out!

Lack of confidence wasn't the reason this whole thing started.

I hope he takes them to court. Especially in view of all the support he's been given.
