This is the second book I ever read on transgender issues. (The first was Jan Morris's 'Conundrum')

I found it in a secondhand book shop.

Still have it and now that you have reminded me it is time to re read it.

..........and most of her adventure took place before the internet. How many girls has the internet saved?? Learning that "we are not alone" is a big burden removed and then when you can access others of "our ilk" with just a few key strokes............... ain't it great??
