Sorry SL, thought I had included that. I got 60% Dixie, so I joined CJ and Curly.

My cousin from Santa Fe was just here, and she got 30% Yankee. We were both born and raised in Okie land, but she lived 11 years in Chicago, and the last 30 years in Santa Fe. She is a school teacher, and even as a teen, didn't sound like an Okie. LOL.

I thought I would have scored higher since I've never lived anywhere else but the north east. Go figure!

At 51%, definitely straight down the middle here. Being a (True Northerner) though, I'll confess that my only knowledge of Dixie is the Austin Powers character Dixie Normos.

Good morning!: I came out as 67 or 68% "Dixie" on the first try. I never thought of myself as "southern," but have been living in Maryland or Virginia for more than half of my life. guess something rubbed off! (of course there were a few questions I could've gone either way, but still...)

53% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

I live a little south of Puget Sound, but that's about as southern as I get. I tend to live in rural areas, though, so I suppose that might explain the marginal tilt.
