Tipped the scale at less than 230 lbs today. That's a loss of around 57 lbs since Aug 15. DonnaT

I just learned a friend has died. He had emphysema, and has had for a number of years. Like my uncle and great uncle before him, he continued to smoke though it was hastening the end of his life. He was a gentle soul, and I will miss him. Slow suffocation is a perverse way to take your life. Please, if you smoke, do all you can to quit for the sake of your family finances, if not yourself. If you don't smoke, don't start.
