Born March 2, 1942 he was the orginal Transformer. Had only one top 20 hit with "Walk on the Wild side" The live version of "Sweet Jane" at Max's Kansas City with The Velvet Underground is in my opinion one of the best rock songs ever recorded live. And ladies. Sweet Jane is not about a woman nor a man. Who is this this great songwriter and performer?
