A Chinese man walks into the Social Security office to apply for benefits. the clerk asks him for his name, he replies Hymie Markowitz. The clerk is startled and says to him, " You are Chinese, how did you get the name Hymie Markowitz?
The man tells her when he came to this country he stood in line behind a man named Hymie Markowitz and when it was his turn he went up to the clerk and she asked him his name he said Sam Ting, and the clerk wrote down Hymie Markowitz.
