DST (Daylight Saving Time)

I saw this in a discussion of Daylight Saving Time:
Like the Indian said:

"Only the white man would think that you could cut a foot off the top of a
blanket and sew it on the bottom and have a longer blanket."

Hi Leeza

I agree with that wise saying, you cannot extend the day by moving the blanket.

But if an hour is chopped off the foot of the blanket (morning) there is an extra productivelighter evening or afternoon hour which therefore does not demand energy consumption as one may be still active. This around the world could potentially save a massive amount of energy consumption.
