Yesterday I stopped at at my neighborhood supermarket to pick up a few groceries. While in the produce aisle I noticed a woman who appeared to be talking to a potato! Just when I thought I’d seen all forms of deviant human behavior, this thing pops up. I knew it wasn’t polite, but I went ahead and stared at her anyway. I couldn’t help myself, I stared for the longest time, I was simply hypnotized by what I saw. When she finished her “conversation” she turned toward me. It was then that I realized what she actually had was a phone that was designed to look like a potato! Now I’ve seen everything! She showed me the phone, it was some brand that I never heard of before. Probably manufactured goodness knows where. Well, never a dull moment as Dad used to say.

I am not sure which I would find more strange, a person talking to a potato or someone crazy enough to buy a phone that looks like a potato!

Or the person who thought of the idea in the first place!

My godfather was an auto dealer. I remember visiting him once and in his showroom was a very ugly car in an unflattering color, think Grey Poupon mustard. I asked him who in their right mind would buy that and he smiled and said "There's an backside for every seat."
