Anti-gay wedding bill could increase prejudice

Post by Josey »

Hi,
If you are concerned about the negativity of society towards those who are different from themselves, such as those who wear clothes of the other sex, then you might want to join in the movement at the site, DearMary.com. You can send an email to the daughter of the Vice President who is openly gay and was supported by her father up until a few months ago. This the mail I sent:
Dear Mary,
I am not gay but I do believe that those in a gay relationship should have the same rights as those in a straight relationship. Whether they call it marriage or by some other term, as long as it is recognized by the world as a sacred and legal union, I am for it. As one who has been a crossdresser since around six, I have had to worry about the social criticism that exists in our world and I strongly believe it is time to eliminate it. People should be able to have relationships as they desire and to dress as they desire. Good luck with this.
Sincerely, Josey
I realize that this could be a controversial topic even among those who are here on this forum, but we have been fighting social prejudice since the day we put on our first panties. You may or may not agree that gays should be allowed to marry but shouldn't that be up to them?
Hugs,
Josey

Perhaps this should be placed in one of the other topic areas.

Hi,

You are absolutely correct. This is my first day here and I didn't know how to do that.  I was used to another forum where everything was posted in one area. I know better now but thanks for mentioning it. I can always use guidance. :)

Josey, hope you did not take my earlier post the wrong way. I just thought that some would miss your post being her on this thread. As Alexandra, our next great leader of the free world, pointed out the moderators will or should eventually move this to the proper topic and tread.

Yep, that's it. Nobody is forcing anyone to marry gay people, so for anyone to oppose it strikes me as being selfish.
