I had a dream that I had a red trans-am (or it could have been a camarro or a firebird) in the early 1980s shape that I would only ever drive en femme.

Here in the UK though I wouldn't be able to afford to run it at £5.00 a gallon for fuel!
It costs a fortune to look this cheap!

Wow, a red Camaro with 426 horses. With launch control? A cop magnet if ever I heard of one.

Congratulations!

If I was still into drag racing . . .

Loaded up,the 2 ss package.Have three other Camaros too,a 1975 and a 1968,1999 also. The 1968 does get me in trouble the most, have a lead foot and it has a 502 HP 502 big block under the hood which drinks lots of gas.Plan to upgrade this one after breaking it in the spring.Cars are in my blood thanks to my father that got me into it

I love the '68, a real muscle car, in theory all American cars are useless floppy things that can't go round corners, have enormouse engines with no power, but..... 60s and 70s muscle cars, wow who cares if they can only go in a straight line, I dream of a 'cuda - not very lady like I know but I just can't see myself in Fiat Punto

I had a 70 Dodge Charger RT, 440mag, 375 hp. Got great gas mileage til you hit the throttle hard, then you could see the gas guage falling, 18 mpg normal driving.

Wow that is quite a collection, I am so envious. A couple of years back I had to sell my classic 1966 SInger Vogue, I loved the car but she needed work that I couldn't undertake myself, and with limited funds and space she had to go. Here in London space is so limited that it is very difficult for many people to keep a classic as well as a modern car, and in my case a van as well.

It's great to know that people are keeping these fine cars going, and using them. Classics arn't just the great marques, myself I'm a Rootes group fan.

I keep the classics running due to my good friend Douglass,he runs a hot rod shop of his. Some of my cars needed simple work before being driven. My 1971 Nova had a leaking brake line and gas leak when I bought it.Same with my 1968 Camaro, did one upgrade and fixed the bad running condition.Had a Holley carburator and that went goodbye replaced with an Edelbrock carb.Replaced the transmission too,had a TH400 replaced with a 4L80E.Wanted something with overdrive was talked into the 4L80E.My 2010 is upgraded already,a high performance torque converter, headers and exhaust, supercharger and suspension.Brake upgrade next year for my 2010 Camaro. All of them are in hibernation until next year in the spring

For me, it'd have to be a 97' 30th Anniversary SS, one of the 106 LT4 hardtop cars, if I could swing it, or an 88-90 RS style car, with C5 Z06 front brakes/calipers & 1LE rear discs/springs/shocks/swaybars, a T56 and an LS6 swapped in as well.

The new Camaro just doesn't do anything for me...too big, too heavy, too Australian...

But hey, different strokes for different folks, eh? Glad ya like it, good kill! I bet ya can't wait.

I'll let you know when it comes off the line. That's if I can pick it out of the hundreds parked waiting for trains!
I see them all over town, they take them to a place in the next town for something. Package application I'm guessing. Kinda weird seeing 10 or 12 in a row tooling down the road.
Trying to come to grips with this thing called Crossdressing.
