For some, especially the guitarists, they'll remember Gary. He was found dead Sunday, at age 58.

He meant a lot to me, even though he wasn't someone I listened to a lot. He was one of the guitarist/singers who I really respect. I used to do a cover of his "Still got the blues." He was associated with Thin Lizzy, and I have benefited from listening to them over the years.

I've seen him on videos, and he made singing and playing at the same time look effortless. But the singing he was doing was so good!

Thanks for posting this, Donna. It makes me sad tonight.
